Where can I buy a Kaden unit?

Kaden ducted heaters are available from Metalflex, Actrol and Reece HVAC-R branches. You can find your nearest branch here.

How much will installation cost?

Installation costs will vary depending on the current state of your home, and if there are any elements requiring an upgrade or changing. It's best to consult with a licensed installer to get a detailed quote for installation.

Do I need to service my gas ducted heater or evaporative cooler?

Kaden gas ducted heaters come with five-year warranty. However, if you register your Kaden unit within the first 12 months, there is a two-year extension. In the fourth year, a general maintenance service must be performed by the manufacturer or its appointed nominee.

What should I do if my Kaden gas ducted heater isn’t delivering any hot air?

If your ducted heater is not producing warm air, there can be several reasons. Make sure you check that the controller is turned on and set to 'heating'. Alternatively, speak to a licensed installer as your unit may need a service.

Will a Kaden gas ducted heater work in areas that experience sub-zero temperatures?

Yes, your Kaden gas ducted heater will continue to maintain its’ power output during sub zero temperatures, unlike ducted reverse cycle heaters which become less efficient in cold temperatures.

Are Kaden Split System Air Conditioners wi-fi capable?

No, currently the Kaden range does not have wi-fi capability.

Do Kaden units come in colours?

The Kaden KS range is available in white.

Do Kaden units have multi-unit options?

Multi-unit air conditioners are currently not available.

What controller options are there?

The Kaden Split System Air Conditioner currently comes with a remote. A hard-wired controller is also available as an add on.

Does the Kaden Split System Air Conditioner range come with an internal pump?

An internal pump for drainage is sold separately.

How often should I clean my filters?

It is recommended you clean your filters regularly to prevent the build up of dust and to ensure the unit is working efficiently. If unsure, please contact your installer.

What do I do if my Kaden evaporative cooler isn’t delivering any cool air?

If your evaporative cooler is not producing cool air it can be several different reasons. Check that the wall controller is set to cool. Check that the water supply is turn on. On extremely humid days the evaporative cooling process may be less efficient so the ventilation (fan) function would work more effectively. Alternatively contact a licence installer as the unit may need to be serviced.

Do I need to have my windows and or doors open when using my Kaden evaporative cooler?

Evaporative cooling works best when windows and doors are partially left open to exhaust air already within the house. This will allow the fresh cool air to move through the rooms.

Are Kaden Split System Air Conditioners wi-fi capable?

No, currently the Kaden range does not have wi-fi capability.

What controller options are there?

The Kaden Wall Mounted Air Conditioner currently comes with a remote. A hard-wired controller is also available as an add on. You can use both a remote and wireless remote controller with the Kaden KS range.

Can I control temperatures in different rooms?

If you use a zone control system such as Myzone 3, you can control the temperature in different rooms. For more information, consult your installer or speak to a Kaden stockist.
